Schwinn Free Wheeler Jogging
Stroller
You never have to get separate kinds of
strollers for different occasions. A Schwinn Free Wheeler
jogging stroller will do just fine for all your needs. Its slim
structure makes it easy to use indoors or outdoors and is
perfect for narrow or well populated areas.
It’s not just the compact frame that makes
it great for various spaces. It also comes with a swivel wheel
so you never have to struggle through multiple turns. Its back
wheels ensure that you and your child will have a smooth
transit even on pebbled or muddy tracks. In other words, this
is the stroller to get for jogging, walking or shopping.
Like other Schwinn jogging strollers, this
one also has additional features. It has an adjustable handle
so tall parents don’t have to slouch. It also comes with its
own parent tray and kid tray. One of its best features though
is its adjustable canopy. Your kid doesn’t have to squint even
when the route is on a direct path with the sunlight. Its
safety features include a stationary brake, five point harness
and tether.
One of the few downsides to the freewheeler
is its folding mechanism. It is supposed to fold down with one
hand but the actual process can be difficult for first timers.
It also does not lock in place when folded so storing it in a
trunk can be challenging.
All in all, this single stroller is a good
buy at $196-$310. It’s neither too cheap not too expensive for
an all around stroller.
Schwinn Free
Wheeler 2 Double Swivel Wheel Jogging Stroller
Schwinn has one of the best single strollers
around. What do you do though when you need to go around with
two kids? You can just get a Schwinn Free Wheeler double
jogging stroller. If you’ve tried the single stroller and loved
it, you’ll love this one too.
Of course, being a double stroller, it is
less maneuverable in tight spaces. You might have a hard time
getting through doors, store aisles and populated walks. It is
still a very good option though for walks and jogs on wide
areas. It has a swivel front wheel which makes it easy to move
even on curves and corners. Its wheels also seem to work well
even on pebbled or muddy surfaces.
Aside from its flexible and durable wheels,
this model also comes with several other features. It has a
full canopy, generous storage area at the bottom, basic parent
tray, adjustable seats and adjustable handles. Like other
Schwinn jogging strollers, this one can also fold up even if
you use just one hand.
One other extra feature parents might like
is the wrist band. With this handy strap, you can keep your
kids and stroller well within your reach even if you
accidentally let go. This isn’t exactly a hand break but it can
work just as well.
The only possible complaint about it is the
seat incline. You might have to get a pad for your babies if
they aren’t too comfortable. The price may also be a bit higher
than others with brand new units fetching up to $436.
