InStep Double Jogging
Stroller
InStep Safari Swivel Double
Jogging Stroller
Active parents don’t have to worry about leaving kids behind
when they’re out for a jog. With a reliable jogging stroller,
you can enjoy the fresh air outdoors while keeping a close eye
on your kids. Double strollers are especially handy if you have
more than one child to bring along.
If you’re looking for double functionality at an affordable
price, you might want to try the Safari double jogging stroller
from InStep. Its main feature is its swivel-wheel function with
instant lock for convenient maneuverability. Its 16 inch double
back wheels are slightly larger that its 12 inch front wheel
for better movement on rougher terrain.
Added special features include top and bottom compartments
for your baby’s toys, diapers, drinks and more. This InStep
double jogging stroller also comes with a sun shade, single
hand folding mechanism, padded seat, five point harness and
reclining seat. At more or less $200-$300 it’s a true
bargain.
The product does have its limitations though. It can carry
only up to a total of 100 lbs and its seats do not extend up to
the canopy. It may therefore be a bit of a tight fit for tall
kids. Although seats can accommodate small 3 years old, they
are best recommended for at least 6 month old babies. The ride
may be a bit uncomfortable for large kids too since the seat
recline can be a bit low and the straps do not come with pads.
The canopy lacks some coverage so it can be an irritating ride
for your little ones on a very sunny day.
InStep Suburban Safari Double
Jogging Stroller
Double strollers are a blessing for parents who love the
outdoors. Some models however can have extremely restrictive
prices. If you want basic functionality without a hefty price
tag, you might want to try InStep’s Suburban Safari.
At merely $150-$260 dollars, the price is a far cry from the
$500 that some strollers fetch. But is the low price a good
deal? Depending on your specific needs, this model may be all
you will need.
This model still comes with its revolutionary 12 inch front
swivel wheel. Parents no longer have to struggle or worry about
stroller stability on tight turns and corners. For jogging
purposes, the wheel can be conveniently locked for a smooth
ride. Its rear wheels aren’t very large though which makes this
InStep double jogging stroller not very good for rough
terrain.
Like the other Safari model, the InStep Suburban Safari
comes with a spacious bottom basket. Parents can bring a
variety of food, toys and baby items for long walks. Front
containers for baby food and drinks though still seem to be a
missing feature for this model.
As to seating comfort, the Suburban Safari still comes with
padded seats. The seats have higher and less reclined backrests
now which is great news for you if you have tall kids. Other
comfort features include a bug screen and the usual sun shade.
The shade however may still be a little short of providing
total protection. You may have to use your own separate shade
for sunny days.
